One is Not Allowed to Become Old
The main service of Hashem – is that one’s service should always be new and fresh, and one shouldn't fall into the trap of an old rut of the yetzer hara, meaning one's service should not become old to him G-d forbid, as Rebbe Nachman z"l warned us on this – and said: One is not allowed to become old, not an old tzaddik, not an old chossid, old is not good, because we're always supposed to start fresh and new with vitality.
(Likutei Halachos, Tefillin 5:5)

The Most Precious of all Prayers in the World!
When a person starts recognizing his own deficiencies and lack of good deeds, and begins having compassion on himself, and starts arguing with Hashem, he bickers with Him, and expresses his complaints on Him why He doesn't bring him closer, he spills his words, and his heart in front of Hashem until he gets aroused with tears, etc. Oh how precious is this type of prayer in the eyes of Hashem, and this is the most precious of all the prayers in the world.
(Likutei Halachos, Laws of Tefillin 5:43)
